Patios, Walkways and Concrete Work

  • Paver Patios
  • Concrete Work
  • Walkways and Steps
  • Retaining Walls
  • Restoration and Repair

We build hardscape, we do not just clean it. Paver patios, stamped and broom-finished concrete, walkways, steps and retaining walls — excavated, based, compacted and laid by our own crew.

Most patio failures in this area come from the part nobody sees. Skip the excavation depth, skimp on the gravel base, fail to compact it properly, and clay soil will heave the whole thing out of level in two winters. We spend the time on the base, which is why our finished work is still flat years later.

  • Full excavation and compacted base on every install
  • Pavers, brick, flagstone, stamped and broom-finished concrete
  • Landscaping restored around the finished work
  • Residential and commercial

What's included

Everything under patios and concrete

Paver Patios
Building, repairing and renovating patios in pavers, brick and stone. Excavation, compacted gravel base, screeded sand, cut and laid pavers, and edge restraint to hold it all together.
Concrete Work
Installing, repairing and renovating concrete surfaces — walkways, driveways, patios, slabs and pads. Broom finish or stamped and coloured, depending on the look you are after.
Walkways and Steps
Front walks, garden paths and steps in flagstone, paver or brick, set on a proper base so they stay level and safe underfoot.
Retaining Walls
Block and stone retaining walls to hold back a slope, level out usable yard, or terrace a bed. Built with drainage behind them, which is what stops a wall bulging out years later.
Restoration and Repair
Re-levelling settled pavers, replacing cracked or broken sections, and re-sanding joints on patios that are structurally fine but looking tired.

Patios and Concrete: common questions

How long does a patio take to build?

Most residential patios run three to five working days, depending on size, access for equipment and the weather. We give you a realistic window up front and tell you if rain moves it.

Pavers or concrete — which should I choose?

Pavers cost more up front and can be lifted and re-laid if a section ever settles or a utility has to be reached. Concrete is a lower initial cost and a cleaner, more modern look, especially stamped. We will show you both on your property and let you decide.

Do you fix the lawn after the work?

Yes. Grading, topsoil and seed or sod around the finished area is part of the job. We do the landscaping too, so the yard does not get handed off to somebody else half-finished.

Do you build the patio yourselves or subcontract it?

Our own crew builds it. The photos on this page are our own jobs, including the excavation and base work in progress.
